About MeI have been crating for about eighteen months now. I was signed of sick from work and was told I would never work again. I had led a very active work and social life and suddenly I had nothing to do. A friend introduced me to cardmaking and there has been no turning back. I test dies for a shop, but I prefer to be free hand with my designs. I start off with the colour and see where is leads me. when making cards for individuals, I try to find out something about them or their hobbies and tailor my cards to that. I am an avid crafter and baker. I knit, crochet, sew, make candles, press flowers, and bake. Boy do I bake. But my biggest passion is cardmaking and decoupage is the ultimate but I'm old fashioned in that I like to cut out the design rather than have it already precut. My craft room is full to the brim with dies, machines, card and embellishments. At the moment I love making flowers out of anything including wired ribbon as well as card. I have one grown daughter, two grandchildren and I am married. My husband is in the Armed Forces. We own our home in Cornwall, a beautiful part of the world and it is gorgeous.
